Stupid sprinklers

The sprinklers outside my office came on the other morning when it was barely above freezing and the ground was already completely wet. We just broke the all-time record for the most rainfall in November and yet the sprinklers are still coming on. I can't believe that Microsoft hasn't invested in sprinklers that detect ground or air moisture, or at least turned them off in the winter. It's crazy.
